Give the Men Flowers
Give the Men Flowers is a photo project I’ve always had in the back of my mind. It started as an idea that was simply photographing men with flowers, but I wanted that idea to mean more.
I wanted to create a platform allowing men to be able to freely express their internal struggles and emotions. I am hoping that this project will give a sense of validity towards how men feel, without society telling them, they have to “man up”.
The flowers symbolize comfort, acceptance and awareness, my way of letting you know that your feelings are valid,
no matter what,
and that men deserve flowers too.
